Yesterday I trekked all the way to North Melbourne for a job interview. It turned out Joe had applied as well and was scheduled for the same group interview too! Thank god he was there, I wouldn't have made it on time on my own because finding the place was such a bitch. We walked up and down the same stretch of street four times, called Joe's friend who works there and then called the receptionist twice asking for directions. After half an hour of wandering, we finally realized we'd actually walked past it twice already! It was hidden behind a cafe called FLOW that looks more like a cottage ("It's a very large cafe, you can't miss it," the receptionist goes).

Anyway after that we went to Boost, paid off Joe's friend's parking fine at Town Hall, then went to Joe's house and then drove back to the city to meet Alex after work at 5. Then we went for dinner in Clayton at my favourite restaurant! I like the new owners, the food quality (judging from what we ordered) was even higher than before. The service was pretty much the same except for one particularly attentive waiter who kept asking if I needed anything, and to be be careful of the BBQ and to enjoy the food. We gave him a nice tip :)

Hey and then we finally went to see the Dark Knight! A bit late compared to everyone else but oh well, we have tight schedules. I was a bit distracted for the first half hour and subsequently lost a bit of the plot, but it was awesome. Oh Heath Ledger, why did you have to turn crazy.
