Tuesday was a dental appointment and op shop shopping with Mum; try as I may there was nothing to be found apart from a brown crushed silk that was too big. I'm too lazy and probably won't ever get around to altering it, so I just left it there hanging with the other bits and pieces for someone else to find.

Wednesday was shopping at DFO Moorabbin with Jean! There was a top that looked really nice on the hanger but when I tried it on it made me look preggers! I left empty handed but Jean came away with a wallet and a singlet from Cotton On that had a particular smell of urine (the store, not her singlet!). I didn't realize it at the time, but the existing shop where Cotton On now was actually used to be a random pet store. The lights were dimmed and there was a strong pungent stench; all the puppies had matted fur and hadn't been bathed for days, the birds looked sick and had patches of missing feathers, and there were a couple of dead fish in the tanks that hadn't been scooped away. The place was absolutely filthy and probably wasn't even legal, I'm glad the place closed down.
Anyhoos, stopped for Maccas ice cream afterwards and dropped Jean off at Forest Hill. Then I went home and made QUICHE for dinner, had cravings all day after watching Jean eat it for lunch!

Thursday was lunch at DonDon's with Kelvin and Joe then trammed down to Bridge Road where this particular pub used to have a pool table we could play for free! Alex and I used to to go there before he dropped me off for work last year, but the bartender told us it had been sold since December aww...so then went to Boost and played at Charlton's for a bit instead.

Today drove Mum down to our farmhouse in the country-ish and then went to Alex's house with the intention of baking a chocolate cake! But then he didn't have a scale so we couldn't measure the amounts of flours and sugar and stuff, so went to Parkmore instead and had a supershake from Wendys! Mmm...ahh I have such a high calorie lifestyle :D
