There is nothing, nothing like a long holiday that consists of doing nothing but eating, crapping, sleeping, and shopping. I miss my cousins, my octopus card, bargaining, being spoilt, and mostly my grandma, who says and does the funniest things without realizing it, even when my cousin and I are killing ourselves laughing.

First week:
- happy reunions
- lots of yum chas!
- shopping at causeway bay, sogo, langham place
- bought my shu curler :D
- learnt how to bandage my legs with gladwrap before showering
- family holiday away to Xiamen for 3 days
- was nearly ripped off $200 aud!

Second week:
- shopping at mong kok, other random places
- valentines day at a beautiful bayside, overpriced german restaurant (celebrating my cousins 10th birthday harhar)
- CNY day barbeque at the beach
- just missed the CNY fireworks on the way to the airport
- gained (too) many kilos!

Shopping wasn't as great as I thought it would be, yet even so, I don't know where all my money went. Must be me thinking the exchange rate was better than it actually was, which led to me believing I'd gotten a bargain when I really hadn't. Doh.

When I saw my Ma Ma (my dad's mum) for the first time in over 3 years I nearly cried. Although I knew she had a lot of health problems after the death of my Ye Ye, I never expected to see her so frail and skeletal. She had to put so much effort into walking it almost looked painful. It made me realize how strong and healthy my 80 year old grandma is (mum's mum) in comparison, hopping down the stairs of a double decker bus with the agility of someone twenty years younger than her. It's so sad, knowing someone you love is slipping away.

Anyhow, pictures! Only 3 for now, because I don't know where the others are yet.
